Position: Software Engineer III
Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Build and support payment solutions for the millions of customers using distribution systems at scale. Work with the product team and stakeholders to groom the requirements and create a working flow. Collaborate with upstream and downstream systems to finalize the structure and contract the APIs. Design and develop REST services web API using Java 8. Test APIs using Junit and automation scripts for existing and new workflows. Deploy the application to different environments using Docker. Test the application in lower environments including downstream and upstream systems in collaboration with end-to-end testing teams. Integrate with document-based databases including Cosmos to save and fetch the data for customer purchase flows. Work with external teams to ensure data reliability and database performance. Troubleshoot customer production issues in collaboration with multiple teams.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills.
Skills required: Experience architecting and implementing large scale, multi-tenant and highly scalable enterprise software using Java, Java EE, REST APIs, Spring and Hibernate. Experience implementing software or features in an object-oriented programming language (Java, Python or Scala). Experience designing large scale enterprise solutions using relational databases including Oracle and MySQL. Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, or Swarm. Experience with production deployment and support. Experience with Performance and Load Testing Automation using JMeter and Jenkins. Experience with JavaScript. Experience with Messaging Middleware including Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ. Experience designing and developing solutions using NoSQL database including Cassandra and MongoDB. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
