What you’ll do: 

  • Take ownership for representing a portfolio of our most strategic relationships with The Trade Desk’s largest Global brand partners.  
  • Grow and nurture relationships with senior leaders from a wide variety of disciplines within your portfolio of brands, including Heads of Media, Heads of Digital, CMO, Data & Innovation leads etc. 
  • Position yourself as an extension of the client’s in house team, supporting them to leverage the full potential of The Trade Desk platform.  
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the brands business challenges and work collectively with the greater Global Sales and Client Service teams to drive revenue growth and increase stickiness.  
  • Own relationships with local commercial and contract leads for key Global brand partners.  
  • Communicate the value of our media buying platform by aligning The Trade Desk’s media buying philosophy with our client’s 
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the product roadmap and platform functionality but is also able to think on a more macro-level and develop messaging which factors in the wider industry and trends. 
  • Coordinate account discussions with Global counterparts and keep local Senior Leadership informed 
  • Work closely with product, marketing and revenue teams to constantly optimise efforts relating to companywide goals. 
  • Build meaningful connections with key people in Advertising industry and represent The Trade Desk at industry events. 

 

Who you are: 

 
We are looking for a commercially savvy, very senior sales individual to identify, grow, and nurture key clients. You’ll need a proven track record of delivering results, building relationships and collaborating with other teams as you’ll be working with some of our most strategic clients. 

  • 12+ years of experience in online advertising sales across diverse sectors, ideally within AdTech, or MarTech. 
  • A great communicator with the ability to speak with senior levels and establish long-standing, consultative client relationships; and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team and industry groups. 
  • A team player who participates and leads discussions, with strong management and leadership skills through a collaborative team approach. 
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation's ability, able to lead commercial negotiations for large global accounts 
  • Passion for owning a room, closing deals, and getting wins 
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations 
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings and company offsites
