About the Opportunity:

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside is located in Chermside approximately 10km’s from the Brisbane CBDWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to expand their clinical knowledge, skills and experience by getting exposure to a wide variety of cardiac and vascular procedures.

This is a fast-paced Cath Lab and hybrid operating theatre with state-of-the-art equipment.  We are offering a Permanent part time position of up to 32 hours per week with flexibility to the preferred candidate.

Things that work for us:

  • AHPRA registration as a Radiographer

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiographer in an acute tertiary hospital is desirable, but not essential

  • Experience working within a Cardiac Catheter Lab or Angiography Suite is preferable

  • General X-Ray skills and sub speciality of either MRI or CT is desirable

  • Working knowledge of regulations, legislations and best practice

  • Commitment to excellent patient centred care

  • The ability to work flexibly within the department and to provide effective leadership and education in the absence of a Senior Radiographer

  • Intermediate computer literacy, in using a range of Microsoft Office programs and openness to extend learning into 3D post processing software’s
