Your Impact

The HR Business Partner, Employee Relations provides a vital and independent view on complex and sensitive employee relations issues. As part of the overall People Operations and Legal functions, you will be responsible for understanding ER issues, gathering fact-based evidence, and using judgment and compassion in recommending workplace intervention and remedies that reduce risk to the firm. You will stay abreast of the relevant law and best practices, and will participate in department leadership in training and development of both People Operations and line managers on creating and maintaining a healthy, safe, and and inclusive workplace.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong aptitude for balancing individual and organizational needs. What You’ll Do

Location: Onsite in Phoenix, AZ
Reports to: HRBP Manager

  • Provide investigative support and recommendations for mediation for employee relations issues at Axon
  • Interview and investigate potential violations of policies or code of conduct
  • Together with your legal partners, recommend courses of action to remedy or eliminate problematic workplace behavior
  • Provide practical advice to leaders working through employee relations matters
  • Make strategic recommendations to Axon leadership on thematic or recurring issues
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Operate both independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.

What You Bring

  • Spanish and English Language fluency required
  • Proven skill in exercising sound judgment, influencing stakeholders, and solving problems effectively.
  • Creative and adaptable with a focus on fact-based solutions, capable of thriving in a dynamic, team-oriented setting and managing conflicts adeptly.
  • Track record of actively seeking and integrating feedback from all organizational levels.
  • Broad interest in Axon’s business challenges

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 93,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 140,400 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
