The Checkout/Cleaner role prepares the trucks for customer pick up by inspecting, touching up, cleaning, and detailing.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Wash and detail trucks prior to customer pick-up                                          

  • Paint tires.

  • Strip coating off of the four-way inside cab.

  • Remove stains and buff scratches from four-way.

  • Tape and paint inside edge of door surface.

  •  Inspect wrinkle finished areas.

  • Touch up wrinkle finished areas.

  • Scrub down entire interior of vehicle.

  • Clean and wipe down inside compartment.

  • Touch up any damaged areas.

  • Ability to drive fire apparatus

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Driver's License with no endorsements

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

  • Ability to wear required PPE

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold for extended periods of time. This position is regularly exposed to vibration and loud noises.
