Rowe Price is seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative leader to oversee a Global team of highly experienced strategic marketing media professionals.

Role Summary:

As Head of Integrated Marketing and Media, your strategic marketing expertise and comprehensive media thought-leadership will be essential to the continuous advancement of the global marketing team's integrated marketing strategy practice.  Integrated planning is about using deep insights about client needs and behaviors to determine how and when the T. Rowe Price brand shows up in the marketplace along every point in the client journey.

Reporting to the Global Head of Brand and PR, the head of integrated Marketing and Media will be responsible for development of end-to-end integration of consumer insights to deliver actionable and comprehensive comms planning across paid owned and earned media.

Demonstrating an intimate understanding of what drives client and consumer behavior, and how they interact with channels and technology, this pivotal role demands a focus on how to most effectively reach and communicate to our target audience driving the brand narrative across the marketing organization inspiring connected creativity throughout.

This is an important role, one that requires inspirational and actionable strategy.  This role requires your understanding of the target audience, the messaging that will be most impactful, and how/when that message can be delivered in order to lay the foundation for marketing innovation.  The role demands a demonstrated sense of confidence with deep audience analysis to rationalize and measure both messaging and media decisions.  

Responsibilities:

Your role will concentrate on elevating the integral roles of both media strategy and brand development by evolving them from traditional media planning into a well-understood, highly-regarded and innovative discipline of connections strategy, which includes:

  •        Driving marketing thought-leadership; evolving and applying a strategic approach to all communications, building our brand narrative and developing a toolkit for consistent application of the practice; serving as a voice of connected marketing strategy for internal stakeholders, across the global marketing executive team, segment leaders, our PR, search and social teams.
  •        Cultivating exceptional senior-level client relationships by identifying their strategic brand challenges, competitive threats, and evolving client and prospect behaviors, and anticipating unspoken concerns; guiding their organization toward the next generation of holistic brand experience solutions that drive business impact through customer journey mapping.
  •        Championing the use of data to uncover unexpected insights; and partnering with MSPO (Marketing Strategy Planning & Operations) in exploring new sources of consumer intelligence and brand understanding as fuel for strategy-setting
  •        Managing the growth and development of the media agency and internal media leaders; growing, inspiring and leading strategists, guiding the quality of work and its impact across accounts

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred AND
  • 12+ years relevant work experience, 5+ years management experience

·       A creative provocateur and persuasive storyteller who is endlessly curious, with a keen ability to shift perspective and illuminate powerful insights and creative potential through data and narrative

·       A proven leader and relationship builder with an authoritative presence and confident communication style with executive-level clients; easily accessible to all levels of the organization

·       A skilled manager with a strong history of team oversight and talent development - known for an ability to coach and grow talent, provide constructive feedback in the moment, inspire and drive change, and assemble varied groups for advantageous collaboration

·       An accomplished professional with exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to change

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
