The Solutions Architect (Process Improvement Expert) - TO is a key position within newly created Corporate Transformation Office, responsible to drive change and deliver value for realizing Ingredion’s strategic goals. This role will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing improvements in business processes, practices, and organization models.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess existing business processes, services, and organization models, employ various evaluation methodologies and skills including interviews, process mapping, journey maps, and other Six Sigma tools and techniques, to define the improvement areas
- Perform analysis of the business processes and organization models to propose areas of improvements
- Use measurement techniques to develop business cases and economics for ‘case for change’ and Influence leadership at all levels, including regional presidents and Senior VPs towards approvals
- Work with project teams to develop solutions and improved designs for business processes and organization models
- Working with the project teams, build implementation plans and controlled introduction of the changes and solutions
- Build monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, working with financial analysts, to show improvements and realization of value
- Ability to deal effectively with dynamic change and support team along those lines
- Identify areas that can be improved and constructively propose new solutions that increase value and improve business performance
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers that will help facilitate effective
- Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes, services, and organization models and identification of better ways of working
- Take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls
- Work with other team members and business services departments to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements
- Actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance
- Ensure the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, always reported on and managed
- Complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects
Qualified candidates will have:
- Minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Bet, preferably Black Belt
- Minimum 5-7 years of proven continuous improvement analytical experience in similar roles, including project management and business analysis
- Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, value stream mapping
- Ability to set-up, facilitate and lead service improvement / ‘WorkOut’ sessions with a range of business stakeholders, including business leaders such as region presidents, senior VPs, etc. (incl. Experience of process/value stream mapping)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- A ‘completer-finisher’ taking accountability for ideas from inception to delivery, in an environment that requires robust metrics to confirm success
- Experience of designing or implementing a framework of continuous improvement in a multijurisdictional organization
- Experience of hands-on implementation of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions
- Experience of designing remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues, and track record of following through to ensure closure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of Partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts
- Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
- Experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between
- Experience planning, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
- Understand internal controls and business risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar fields required; MBA preferred

Pay Range:
$115,300.00-$153,766.67 Annual
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
