We're looking for a Accommodation, Operations & Product manager to join our team in London as part of our Client Services function.

Your Role: You will manage all aspects of onsite accommodation for Money2020 shows, including contracting, inventory management, and sales commission reporting. Your role involves proactive marketing to encourage bookings, maintaining client-facing websites to ensure inventory availability, and retrieving commissions post-show. Additionally, you will oversee staff travel logistics for Ascential employees and contractors, ensuring successful bookings and transfers, with a Staff Travel coordinator reporting to you. You will provide exceptional customer support and collaborate with accommodation partners to align inventory allocation with Money2020 policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining high levels of VIP service delivery, reaching strategic targets and operational excellence. Supplier delivery expectations, operations, customer service and contracting.
  • Contract with accommodation partners to ensure that sufficient inventory is secured for delegates & staff for Money2020 and Cannes Lions shows (staff only).
  • Responsible for the management of the Staff Travel Coordinator and overall responsibility to ensure that all deliverables for this role are acheived.
  • Manage accommodation inventory in line with contracts to ensure that sufficient inventory is maintained and sold for all Money2020 Shows.
  • Conducting price comparisons to ensure that we maintain preferential pricing at all times.
  • Weekly reporting to include costs and where accommodation sales are monitored and feedback to the business.
  • Working closely with our marketing teams to ensure we deliver a maximum commission return on accommodation sales.
  • Provide continuous support, manage inboxes and communication with delegates & Money2020 relating to accommodation options.
  • Continues monitoring of websites both Money2020 and accommodation partners to ensure that our sales structure is available to book, complete with inventory and delivering correct information to our customers.
  • Post show commission retrieval from our accommodation partners.
  • Working with our accommodation partners to authorise special rate allocations to delegats where necessary.
  • Be creatively proactive with clients and demonstrate an understanding of their needs.
  • Responsible for delivering web copy for accommodation pages in line with deadlines set out by the wider business.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to help enhance our products and services (possibilities to add new benefits, tech improvements in the customer journey according to feedback).
  • Maximising sales of all accommodation through yield management & increased commission.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date reporting of customer & Staff data and numbers using available tools - Salesforce, Google Sheets etc.
  • Continually create or refine processes and internal documentation according to the changes in the business requirements.
  • Working with colleagues during busy times to offer additional support to ensure the successful delivery of all Money2020 shows.’
  • Complete post show analysis and ensure correct billing and payments.

  • Sales background welcome
  • A complete focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong Operational competence       
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software, such as Gainsight and Salesforce welcome
  • Fluency in Mandarin an advantage
