Position Summary
The Executive Director, SOX Compliance, plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's internal control environment, as a second line leader. The Executive Director will build a new function, ultimately leading teams, collaborating with various business units, and driving initiatives to strengthen risk frameworks. This position focuses on integrating risk management practices with financial controls, ensuring that controls meet SOX compliance standards. The Executive Director will lead teams, collaborate with various business units, and drive initiatives to strengthen risk frameworks.
The Executive Director is responsible for supporting and coordinating with the business regarding their need to have effective and efficient controls over financial reporting. The role involves understanding end to end business processes and control design with the ability to drive enhancements in control design and execution and collaborate across departments to achieve SOX compliance objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
