The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Job Summary:

The role will be responsible for interacting with our client base alongside our rates and currency sales team to provide analysis of corporate and institutional clients’ market exposures and providing bespoke recommendations on how best to eliminate/mitigate those risks. The role will have meaningful interaction with clients and the candidate should have extensive experience with a variety of hedging programs as it pertains to rates and currencies exposures as well as commodities and other capital market subject matter. Additionally, the creation of marketing materials on thematic opportunities, meaningful changes in accounting standards or other subjects related to hedging is desired.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate directly with corporate and institutional clients to promote FX and interest rate derivatives products to help clients achieve risk management objectives
  • Create bespoke analysis on clients’ exposures and advise on the most efficient/effective ways of mitigating or eliminating exposures
  • Have familiarity with different methodologies to assess risk generated from rates and FX markets and with how corporate and institutional clients manage exposures
  • Create original materials and content for the salesforce to use that would be relevant for our client base pertaining to changes in markets, accounting standards or other risk management related topics
  • In depth understanding of hedging products in both rates and FX
  • Collaborate with partners in sales, trading, banking and capital markets to ensure holistic solutions are delivered to clients
  • Financial accounting expertise preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience required

Skills & Requirements:                          

  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant prior work experience
  • Proficient computer skills, including in Excel including macros and pivot tables and PowerPoint
  • An in-depth understanding of hedging, rates and FX products and demonstrated experience interacting with CFO’s and Treasurers
  • The ability to effectively pitch hedge recommendations
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working as part of a tight-knit sales team as well as members of our banking teams
  • A deep understanding of risk and how corporates/institutions manage exposures

The typical base pay range for this role is between $225K - $300K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
