About the team 

The Revenue Operations team is responsible for maximizing yield through supply optimization, driving global ad revenue growth with strategic pricing and packaging, managing global publisher partnerships for ad inventory deals and delivery, and enhancing the efficiency of the ad sales organization by centralizing processes across our data tools and systems. By aligning advertising sales, marketing, product, and client services, the team aims to optimize the monetization of advertising inventory. This involves a blend of strategic planning, data analysis, system and tool utilization, and partnership management. This role sits on the Revenue Analytics and Insights team within Revenue Operations. Revenue Analytics and Insights uses data to evaluate the health of the Ad Revenue business, builds self-service dashboards and other reporting, and delivers insights to advance to stakeholders to advance the business. 

 

About the role

We are seeking a Sr. Analyst, Revenue Analytics and Insights to join our growing Revenue Analytics team. This role focuses on optimizing workflow, data accessibility, and data visualization through automation to drive insights and ultimately, data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills complemented by deep analytical skills that allow them to turn ideas and questions into on-demand analyses and deliverables. Similarly, this role will take proofs of concept and scale them into deliverables for ad sales stakeholders. This position will be based in our offices in New York City or Boston, and will report to the Manager, Ad Revenue Reporting Automation. 

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $109,000 and $164,000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you’ll be doing

  • Explore solutions to automate repetitive tasks, improve data processing efficiency, and drive innovation within the Revenue Analytics function
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and process automation
  • Design and implement automated solutions to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
  • Develop tools and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making and improve operational efficiency
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data analytics, forecasting, and automation techniques within the Revenue Analytics team
  • Optimize our data model to ensure that we can track key customers’ and their attributes at scale; draw recommendations around new data sets needed to complement the tools and data that we currently have; develop new means of customer segmentation that allow us to look at customers in new and compelling ways
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing to drive innovation and excellence
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical audiences

 

We’re excited if you have

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales operations, sales data analyst, data engineering, or market intelligence positions
  • Direct experience partnering with a sales or other GTM teams 
  • Deep knowledge of the OTT space; experience with DSP ecosystem is a bonus 
  • Working knowledge of sales terminology and metrics 
  • Expertise using SQL with experience using statistical computer languages (Python, R, PySpark, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets
  • Experience creating executive-level dashboards using visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Streamlit
  • Deep understanding of data, hierarchies and relationships, and how they relate to business metrics and KPIs
  • Strong communication skills to easily bridges the gap between data and business owners
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail, and ability to work on many tasks concurrently
  • Project management skills, including engaging with stakeholders from inception through full commercialization and delivery
