We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement EUCOM’s mission objectives.

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Audio Visual/VTC Programmer.  This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. 

Audio Visual/VTC Programmers require excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as thorough knowledge of AV/VTC hardware, software and network connections.  Responsible for Enterprise standardization of Audio Visual (AV) integrated rooms. Will play an active role in the design and installation of small to large-scale AV systems to include: video teleconferencing, sound systems, lighting, displays, and Command-and-Control operation centers. Works with the engineering staff to develop and maintain network requirements, architectures, and designs. Candidate must also understand how AMX and Crestron programming cause/effect impacts the overall audio visual systems. Must be able to establish templates, and program to intuitive user interfaces. Documenting and maintaining operations, network development, and maintenance processes and procedures. Support AV programming, audio design, digital signage, communications, data, and control systems with existing and new AV control systems. Troubleshoot hardware cabling and components in addition to touch panel programming.

May also mentor or train other Audio Visual/VTC Programmers or Technicians. Candidates need excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity.  They must be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources.

More About the Role:

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.  The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.  The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.

Will develop, maintain, and update all VTC Control Devices in the EUCOM Mission Command Center (EMCC). As time allows, support the various VTC rooms throughout their Area of Responsibility. Conduct user training, provide status briefs, develop, update and maintain SOPs and operational guides on AV systems. Provide initial troubleshooting regardless of IT system/device or network and/or service provider. Additionally, the Audio Visual/VTC Programmer will provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required. 


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance and be able to maintain
  • BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized or AA/AS +9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 11 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience
  • AMX/Creston Certifications and CCNA – Video (Collaboration)
  • DOD 8570 IAT2 compliance (CompTIA Security +, equal or greater)
  • TESA eligibility

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • ITIL v3 – Foundation
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
  • CCNA – Video
  • ThinkLogical
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
  • Experience working with basic networking to include foundations of Cisco Routers and Switches
  • Experience with DoD IT security requirements

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$90,300 - 189,600 USD
