Our Business Integrity and Compliance Team (BIC) is responsible for managing the Group’s global compliance obligations with respect to corruption, sanctions and modern slaveryThe team plays a critical role in positioning the Group to maintain compliant and ethical business practices, mitigate risk and demonstrate corporate social responsibility.  

  

As Business Integrity and Compliance Manager you will be a risk and compliance professional with specialist knowledge relative to one or more of the BIC capability areas, and hold experience in third party risk management.  You will apply your specialist knowledge to: 

  • design and implement measures to ensure global legislative requirements and relevant standards are met;  

  • support the ongoing development of the corporate compliance framework; 

  • Lead global risk assessment and due diligence activities including the development of mitigation strategies and remediation plans; and

  • advise on and manage reputational risk matters. 

As a Group-wide role, with global coverage you will have the opportunity to work across varying geographies and to collaborate widely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent, co-ordinated approach to compliance and risk management, embed sustainable and ethical business practices and promote an ethical risk culture.

You’ll have – 

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in risk and/or compliance roles

  • Relevant tertiary/university education. 

  • Expertise in one or more core Business Integrity and Compliance (BIC) subject matter areas. 

  • Strong understanding of domestic and global anti-bribery & corruption, sanctions, and human rights (modern slavery) legislation and international standards 

  • Proven experience in compliance program frameworks, compliance management systems, and risk and control management. 

  • Highly developed report writing, communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence and engage with key internal and external stakeholders 

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to solve complex problems, lead multiple projects and priorities concurrently 

  • Leadership, stakeholder management, and training capabilities. 

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to manage confidential information.
