Conversion Optimisation Executive - Flutter UK&I, Hybrid

Role purpose:

Making customer journeys as simple and effective as possible is a critical part of digital marketing. Optimising acquisition journeys can have a huge impact on the success of digital marketing activity.

The Conversion Executive will support the Conversion Manager in optimising customer journeys from digital marketing content to the Paddy Power and Betfair paid media landing pages and registration forms across all products. With a particular focus on new customer acquisition, the Conversion Executive will apply hypothesis-lead test and learn methodologies to landing pages, driving up conversion metrics over time and helping to reduce CPA.

The Conversion Executive will work closely with all members of the Digital Marketing team as well as the wider Marketing function to ensure that testing plans are documented and agreed. Taking the results from these tests, compiling the insights and using them to make data driven decisions will form the basis of the role day-to-day. This role has responsibility and autonomy and requires a passionate marketer that wants to make an impact within the Digital Marketing space, constantly striving to maximise conversion rates across our web and mobile platforms.

Accountabilities:

  • Create hypothesis driven optimisation testing to improve customer acquisition conversion and journeys across our landing pages
  • Utilise the CRO testing platform to build tests, record, monitor and share results
  • Analyse data and user behaviour to identify user pain points & optimisation opportunities
  • Continually measure the performance of landing pages and share learnings with stakeholders
  • Manage and lead projects independently and within deadlines.
  • Keep up to date with CRO methodology and technology and use your knowledge to create a CRO-centric culture in the company.
  • Utilise the CRO testing platform to build tests, record, monitor and share results
  • Work with their manager and stakeholders to prioritise projects and initiatives that support business KPIs
  • Manage and lead projects independently and within deadlines
  • Build strong relationships within Digital Marketing including Paid Media Channel owners and SEO teams

Experience:

  • Ideal but not mandatory, the candidate will have competent skill level with:
    • SQL
    • Google Analytics & GTM
    • HTML knowledge
    • CSS & JavaScript
    • CMS knowledge
  • Prefer experience with:
    • Data visualisation software (e.g. Looker / Data Studio)
    • Optimizely or a similar Experimentation tool
    • Be competent in setting up and running A/B tests
  • UX Design: briefing and designing wireframes while working closely with the Creative Studio to deliver the most optimal designs
  • Naturally inquisitive mind-set: wants to understand behaviour, look for patterns, find new problems/solutions
  • Flexible: Adaptable to a changing environment and tactics.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Highly numeric/analytical
  • Awareness of conversion optimization trends and technologies. Actively seek out events and growth opportunities and then share your learnings with the marketing team.
  • Ideally will have experience within and a passion for the industry, our products and a good understanding of how other functional teams operate
  • Experience within a marketing or CRO function
