Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in static application security testing (SAST) to identify vulnerabilities, analyze security risks, and implement effective security measures. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Identify vulnerabilities and perform static application security testing (SAST). - Analyze security risks and recommend appropriate security measures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls. - Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies. - Assist in incident response and security incident investigations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Static Application Security Testing (SAST). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST). - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Knowledge of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities. - Familiarity with security assessment tools and techniques. - Experience in conducting security assessments and audits. - Ability to analyze and interpret security assessment results. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Static Application Security Testing (SAST). - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
