JOB DESCRIPTION:

Data Science Intern:

Description of assignment/project:

• Drive automation of International GSQA (Global Supplier Quality Assurance) team’s KPI dashboards
• Create PowerBI dashboard out of Supplier complaints portal and Supplier Change Notifications excel workbook
• Create a dashboard to track and report supplier KPIs
• Leverage AI to build tools to support root-cause investigation
• Explore opportunities to extract data from the application used for tracking supplier qualifications
• Explore and propose platforms for effective project management
• Optimize the supplier certification assessment tool in MS Excel

Expectations about background/skills that the student should bring:

• WO Education preferably in Data Analytics or Data Science related field.
• Background in quality or supplier management is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with PowerBI and MS Office. Affinity towards AI tools.
• Fluent in English (both speaking and writing).
• Solution-oriented and innovative mindset.
• Good communication skills, strong collaboration skills, pro-active, good networker.

Time frame of the assignment:

• 6 months

Preference for working on location/hybrid/remote:

• At least 4 days a week at our Abbott Logistics office in Zwolle.
