You’re in the right place. We’ve been a leading design, engineering and advisory company for decades. So why choose Aurecon? It really comes down to one, crucial question: what kind of world do you want to create for the next generation? Truth is, the decisions being made right now will determine the future of everything – from the local community to the sustainability of our clients’ businesses – to the entire planet. One of those decisions is: who do you decide to work for?
As the Practice Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, leading a team and delivering consulting services to both public and private clients. We work across multiple sectors and anticipate growth across Defence, Water and Data Centre projects. You will lead diverse, high-performing teams across geographic and cultural boundaries, leveraging Aurecon’s integrated service offerings to deliver transformative solutions for major infrastructure projects within these critical industries.
This role offers regional responsibility with national and enterprise-wide influence, providing the opportunity to branch out beyond your immediate portfolio and contribute to the continued success of Aurecon.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership to diverse teams delivering Program advisory services across VIC, driving growth and operational excellence.
Lead project teams with a focus on commercial outcomes, risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement to meet client expectations and profitability.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, using interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Develop and execute business strategies to expand offerings, particularly in program management, social infrastructure, and enterprise partnerships.
Transition smoothly from business development to delivery, seizing new opportunities in growth markets.
Oversee financials to ensure budgets, forecasts, and growth targets are achieved, ensuring sustainable growth across multiple regions
Fostering a collaborative culture, ensuring national success, and meeting budget and strategy targets.
Joining Aurecon means you’ll be at the award-winning edge of innovation and sustainability. Plus, we were Consult Australia’s large firm of the year.
You really can bring your whole self to work and be confident your voice will be heard. We don’t just claim we’re inclusive and innovative, as proven by the independent awards and accreditations we’ve gained. We’ve been recognised for our innovation culture, gender equality and our LGBTI+ inclusion. Plus, we have a robust Reconciliation Action Plan – our fourth edition since 2014.
You’ll have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future.
We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.
