Maintaining & Communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for the solutions developed by a team.

Playing an instrumental role in shaping the technical direction of the Valeo project . Ensuring the creation and maintenance of robust, efficient, and scalable software architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of Simple "or Part of Complex" software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Contribute in the selection of appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools based on project requirements and constraints.

• Provide architectural guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and design principles.

• Assess and address design objectives (scalability, performance, security, maintainability) in the design phase

• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation/Model, making it accessible to relevant stakeholders.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritise design constraints.

• Mentor and develop junior architects and developers.

Technical experience

- Several years of hands-on software development experience.

- Strong technical skills in programming languages, coding practices and the software development life cycle.

- Familiar with common software design patterns and their applications.

- Awareness of non-functional requirements like scalability, performance, security, and maintainability in software design.

- Exposure to (and/or) 

•   Architectural concepts and practices through coursework, self-study, or on-the-job exposure.

•   Software Integration strategies and package management in a continuous methodology.

•   Validation techniques and how to combine several ones to ensure product conformity.

Interpersonal Skills

- Experience working within development teams and collaborating on projects
