The Operations Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting and sustaining the Quality Management System and Quality initiatives. The role will ensure that procedures, analytics, and technology are being leveraged to maximize quality processes and compliance. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Update internal audit program and ensure alignment with existing processes and SOPs.
  • Lead audit management activities including maintaining audit documentation.
  • Lead development of training modules for existing processes in collaboration with the training team.
  • Lead quality initiatives and support additional QMS activities as needed.
  • Support inspection readiness activities for the distribution centers.
  • Support with updating SOPs and Work Instructions to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education

4-year degree in business, STEM, or related field or equivalent experience.

Critical Skills

  • 4+ years of healthcare experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex business processes, technology and change programs across a matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of FDA and other regulatory agencies.
  • Knowledge of wholesale distribution and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Technical writing experience.
  • Involvement with FDA or other regulatory body inspections.
  • CAPA experience.
  • Worked in a highly matrixed environment.

Working Conditions

  • Able to travel 10% of the time.
  • Remote work environment – Work from Home.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$78,800 - $131,300
