Your New Role…

The Technical Ad Ops Manager is the first point of contact for ad-tech related questions and support, providing consultancy on troubleshooting and tech integrations. You will support the various advertising needs to maximize revenue and enhance client relationships. This position will be responsible for managing activities across multiple territories, handling day to day operations, setting up tech integrations and troubleshooting across the WBD portfolio of websites and apps, including Discovery+, Max, TNT Sports and more. Become an agent of innovation through direct contact with supplier product and technical teams to propose new solutions and optimizations.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Monitor and troubleshoot various ad related issues.
  • Support the ad serving needs of different teams across EMEA.
  • Maintain documentation of integrations and technical run books.
  • Address any inefficiencies in our platforms.
  • Responsible for evaluating new technologies and provide input and support for new product setups.
  • Troubleshoot issues using debugging tools such as SPLUNK, EAT, OpenSearch, Kibana.
  • Working with Analyst/Developers to ensure data capture is accurate.
  • Partner with development/product teams to implement new technologies and codebase updates.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams – ad sales, product, tech & player to work through issues and solutions.
  • Focused on ensuring a consistent and accurate technical set up.
  • Owning and managing Adpolicy – (how our video endpoints talk to the adserver)
  • Setting up any API connections with clients for Order management, Video IVI Ingestion.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Experience in the media industry or online advertising environment.
  • An Interest and experience with debugging tools such as SPLUNK, EAT, OpenSearch, Kibana.
  • Knowledge of ad serving technologies and systems – GAM, FreeWheel.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Must be detail orientated, curious with an analytical mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
