As members of the Development CoE (Centre of Expertise) in the Budapest office we are using our technical knowledge and expertise to partner with our business domains and deliver IT solutions to a global audience in the areas of Finance, Sales, CRM, Manufacturing, Logistics and R&D. We are looking for IT experts who wish to be part of a newly forming, diverse team, expand their knowledge and leverage it to deliver complex solutions in the rapidly evolving automotive industry.
The role:
The SAP FI/CO Solution Architect is a member of the SAP Development CoE team and is a key enabler to deploy quality solution in the region. The FI/CO Solution Architect is a highly skilled expert with comprehensive experience in AP, AR, PA, CS, and CO modules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of end-to-end implementation experience across multiple projects, possessing a deep understanding of S/4Hana functionalities and integration capabilities with other SAP and non-SAP systems. Knowledge of emerging technologies such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and familiarity with project management tools like Tricentis, Signavio, and SAP RISE with Cloud will be advantageous. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Central Finance, Master Data Management, Business Warehouse and Business Intelligence is a plus.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture Design: Design and develop comprehensive SAP S/4Hana solutions tailored to meet the specific business requirements of clients leveraging the knowledge of finance (FI), controlling (CO) and COPA. Provide recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions. Additionally, maintain SAP Blueprint and Roadmap documents specific to Nissan’s use of the SAP platform and modules, across all relevant business domains.
End-to-End Implementation: Leading all phases of SAP implementation projects, from requirements gathering and analysis to design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Contribute for successful implementation of submodules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, New GL functionality and Asset Accounting. Plan and execute data migration from the legacy SAP system to SAP S/4HANA. Ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Integration Expertise: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ability to configure S/4HANA Finance & Controlling to the Nissan standards and requirements and integrate it with other S/4HANA modules like sales and distribution (SD) and production planning (PP)
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams and stakeholders, serving as a subject matter expert in SAP FI/CO solutions and architecture. Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives within the organization.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with Nissan business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and align technical solutions with strategic business objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, fostering positive relationships and driving value through innovative solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in SAP S/4Hana technology, including new features, functionalities, integration capabilities, streamlining data processing for better financial data management, and assessing how SAP S/4Hana FI/CO functionality can improve Nissan decision making.
Background & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience, 10+ years of SAP consulting experience
Solid process knowledge of core Finance, Controlling, FP&A processes within the automotive (OEM, Supplier) or manufacturing / distribution industries. Capable of translating business requirements into application design.
Understanding of relevant technologies: Strong technical, deployment, data migration and testing knowledge in FI/CO area especially in the configuration and customizing of the modules FI (GL, AA, AP, AR) and/or CO (OM, PC, PA, PCA).
Financial intelligence with AI in SAP FI/CO, is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of SAP integration methodologies and experience integrating SAP systems with third-party applications.
Good understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies, deployment management and maintenance.
Experience in systems analysis, blueprinting, functional design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
Ability to design complex system architectures based on business requirements.
Strong knowledge in systems design techniques (e.g. Data Flow Diagrams, Process Mapping, Data Models, etc.).
Experience of working across multiple countries and on global complex/transformational SAP projects or programmes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
