JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an Oracle APEX developer to join our team to assist with the design, development, testing and deployment at our Pueblo, CO location. As an Application Developer, individual will help to ensure that our vital manufacturing systems are optimized and that they consistently operate smoothly.   • Research and design software systems in support of the production, quality and shipping activities for our products. 
  • Troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing MIS applications as required. 
  • Performing other software development duties as necessary.
  • Schedule and attend meetings with Operation, Quality, Maintenance and Shipping users to develop software requirements.
  • Provide training and support for custom application to manufacturing personnel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • 2-5 years of experience designing, developing and deploying applications within a Oracle Developer Suite 12c environment
    • Providing computer application development and maintenance using Oracle Forms and Reports Developer, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL
    • Experience with data modeling, PL/SQL, Java Script and general web development is required.
    • Oracle APEX, JSON/ RESTful Web Services and Linux/UNIX scripting development experience. 
    • Experience with relational databases, Oracle 12C preferred.
    • Experience in program design including object-oriented design.
    • Ability to organize, present and discuss complex concepts and issues.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work overtime and holidays as required in order to meet business effectiveness criteria and/or customer requirements.
    • Collaborate with offshore team to document change request, writing spec and performing quality testing in an agile environment.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent.
    • 2-5 years of application development experience.
    • MES (Manufacturing Execution System) or experience with Manufacturing experience is preferred.
