The Team:

The DTS Business Management team oversees the financial performance of a $300M+/year budget used to deliver technology services that support SPGI’s technology landscape. We help build DTS products, services and provides the required Financial and Operational Transparency to our corporate and business stakeholders.

We partner with Digital Solutions functions, Corporate Finance, Vendor and Procurement teams on the yearly budget allocations and tracking, tech-financial reviews , and high-value contracts management and tracking. The Impact:

The DTS organization supports a large and complex estate of technologies/domains – Cloud & Infrastructure, Digital Workplace, Platforms and Tools which are consumed by our business stakeholders to deliver excellent service to S&P Global’s customer base. 

The Technology Business Manager oversees tech-financial analysis, business value assessment, and planning activities for DTS. This position involves delivering strategic insights and supporting decision-making through in-depth operational efficiency and financial forecasting. The candidate will collaborate closely with senior management to ensure financial strategies align with overall business objectives.

What’s in it for you:

In this role you will be responsible to,

  • Support the Business Management Leadership with building executive updates, DTS metrics and scorecard for operational performance
  • Work with Service Owners, Finance and Vendor Management functions to strategically plan , and develop financial plan (upcoming vendor introduced pricing changes, our company’s vision to work with new vendors to support our innovation goals)
  • Support DTS Leadership with procurement submissions, regular checks on contract renewals. Facilitate discussions for CFAR with the required parties
  • Work with Product teams on tracking investment, business value generated and  ensuring alignment with organizational goal. Build the Strategy-Product Roadmap-Investment-Value Map
  • Work with ITBM reporting team on building volumetrics, associated cost >> for our commitment to Divisions on Operational and Financial Transparency
  • Work with Service Owners and Finance team to develop yearly financial investment plans; in the event of no funding, work with Service Owners, InfoSec and Risk team to present the risks at ERMC and secure exceptions.
  • Evaluate potential opportunities and risks for DTS, and recommend actions for cost optimization (contribute to initiatives like Tango2.0)
  • Monitor SOWs for key DTS programs for overages( like BR, TechDebt), attestations in working with the DTS Program Management Team

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7 years + experience in similar roles in a major fin-tech organization
  • Graduate/MBA in Business Administration and Management
  • Proven experience working as a financial analyst
  • Experience managing 50+M budget and large infrastructure investments
  • Worked on cost savings initiatives
  • Excellent reporting, presenting and communication skills
  • Ability to work with large datasets
  • Strategic thinking and organizational skills
  • Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
