MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key business partner in the UK Lingo market. This role will report into the Finance Controller EMEA, working closely with the UK commercial teams on growing and monitoring the Lingo UK business.
  • The role will be a key finance partner for projects identified by Area Controller and local Commercial Director. Leading the country close processes, preparing intercompany transactions, and reporting monthly results to relevant stakeholders and analysing/explaining key variances versus  Plan, LBE and Confirm,under supervision of the Finance Controller EMEA

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Comfortable in working in a dynamic, high-paced environment, both as part of a team and independently and a mindset of learning and growth to develop within the role.
  • Sound financial accounting knowledge with experience in either practice or industry required
  • Excellent Excel skills, experience with data-cube based system (Hyperion, Dodeca)
  • Ability to drive change amongst commercial leaders, influencing decisions within the business.
  • Confident in framing complex data sets and financial tools in a simple and easy to understand way pitched at the stakeholders delivered to.
  • Forward thinking and finding solutions to develop and establish the processes and reporting within a new business unit.
  • Attention to detail with extensive review skills to identify errors/deviations
