Job Detail

We are pleased to announce an opportunity within the Accounting Control Team as an Accounting Associate for a 12 month period.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities are listed below.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Process client Check/Wire, Filing Unclaimed Property, EFT Resends/reclaims.
  • Bank Account and Share Reconciliations
  • Independently prepares reports and analyzes data.
  • Maintain procedure documentation
  • Provide follow up on requests that cannot be immediately resolved
  • Processes ad hoc requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform daily Fund Settlements.
  • Research & resolution of outstanding variances, general ledger and control accounting
  • Collaborating with International Fund Managers & Transfer Agencies (trades, wires & general fund queries) – Trading
  • Projects - working with QA, Prod Support, BSA's, system/fund projects & enhancements.
  • Audit & Due Diligence, SOX SEC adherence, UAT Testing
  • Month End Quarter End and Year End reporting and analysis,
  • Commission funding & balancing, NAV's/Dividend verifications & adjustments, processing of accounting entries


Education/Experience

  • 2-3 years of industry experience (banking, accounting or insurance)
  • Finance background preferred
  • 3rd Level Qualification required (preferred Accounting, Business/Finance)
