POSITION SUMMARY
Administrative and management operation of a PDP Group client(s). Provide professional, effective and highly efficient service while minimizing operational expense and meeting PDP Management expectations.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

Oversee physical operations of PDP Group client(s), U.S. Operations. Manage all supervisors and managers for clients as required. Communicate with staff, clients, management and peers to accomplish tasks and goals. Set key metrics and meet operational goals relative to quality, service, and productivity. Meet Client SLA’s as required. Responsible for personnel matters including evaluating performance, coaching, handling discipline, professional development and team building as it relates to the team overall. Submit annual budgets and provide quarterly updates. Strategic planning within operations including staffing, workflow assignment, benchmarking and compliance with standard operating procedures. Insure employees are being managed to established standards. Problem solving and handling conflict between or among groups within or outside of operations. Act as a liaison between Operations and IT, Accounting/Purchasing, Client Services, Training, and Administration with regard to projects, new clients and ongoing issues. Responsible for recognizing and implementing cost savings opportunities. Responsible for significant contributions to RFP’s, including pricing justifications and being a member of presentation teams. Participate in regular business travel, as necessary. Conduct and manage meetings with clients, prospects and vendors as a representative of PDP Group, Inc.

MINIMUM JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree in business related field preferred.  Experience with managing a large staff.  Working knowledge of PDP operations as well as the automotive insurance industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Ability to analyze past/current statistics to improve performance within budgetary guidelines.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
