Position Summary:

The Millwork Technician is responsible for fabricating exterior and interior residential doors, stairs, and stair rails in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Safely produce exterior and interior residential doors, stairs, and stair rails which meet or exceed industry standards for quality.
• Cut, set up, assemble, sort, rack, mark and bundle job orders per given specifications.
• Place finished goods in their assigned bundle or on the designated pallet.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Meet reasonable production guidelines.
• Maintain safe and clean production area.
• Responsible for adhering to all safety rules
• Other duties as assigned

Other Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Education/Credentials- High school diploma or its equivalent preferred 
• Training- Forklift, Machinery preferred 
• Experience- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Proven ability to apply math, writing, and language skills

Compensation and Benefits information: Van Metre offers excellent benefits, and a work environment that fosters and rewards excellence. • Salary: $19.50 - $23.00 hourly (Pay is commensurate with experience, education, training, and skills)
