Job Summary:
Complex Health Project Coordinator I is responsible for supporting the design of products and operational processes, and growth initiatives within the Enterprise Complex Health Solutions team. This includes strong navigation of CareSource’s internal processes and systems and exceptional collaboration with Enterprise Population Health, Market Health Partners, Enterprise and Market Quality & Performance Management, Growth Strategy, and Shared Corporate Services.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for analyzing monthly department reports to maintain expenditure controls and to proactively identify trends affecting future financial requirements
- Prepare and review integrated financial analysis and reports to management on a timely and accurate basis and incorporate post implementation reviews where necessary. Identifies trends and develops competitive analysis and presents findings to senior management.
- Responsible for analyzing financial trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Understand financial impacts of decisions and communicate those to management
- Responsible for the development of expense projections to support forecast and budget and monitor monthly variances to identify trends
- Evaluate and make appropriate improvements to internal analysis processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization
- Support quarterly review, forecast process, and annual budget process
- Support business owners with contracting, vendor management and strategic sourcing services.
- Lead Strategic Sourcing and Contracting process improvement initiatives within department
- Track individual product performance, by ensuring fidelity to the Operating Model, Complex Health
- Responsible for interacting and providing support to all Complex Health leadership
- Ensure timelines are met by communicating tasks and deliverable to responsible parties and Complex Health leadership
- Support team meetings to establish and execute on detailed tasks
- Support, and execute to the established budgets, timelines (milestones) and task schedules
- Execute assigned tasks to collaborate with senior leadership to ensure initiatives are properly funded, resourced, and managed, as assigned
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in business, healthcare field or equivalent relevant work experience is required
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in health care or a related field is preferred
- Financial analytics experience is required
- Familiarity with the healthcare environment (Medicaid/Medicare) is preferred
- Demonstrated experience with finance, clinical information systems, and/or project management knowledge is required
- Previous experience in developing, implementing, and presenting materials required
- Previous experience leading and facilitating meetings with various levels of management required
- Previous experience with quality control and/or process standards is preferred
- Complex health experience is preferred
- Managed care experience is preferred

- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Position will require some travel
Compensation Range:
$52,400.00 - $83,900.00
