Que harás
The Cash Flow & Institutional Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end cash flow management for the affiliate, balance sheet discipline, and FP&A leadership for the Institutional channel, ensuring financial sustainability, and high‑quality decision support aligned with Abbott’s enterprise standards.
The role acts as the single finance authority for Institutional business performance: P&L ownership; finds source of growth, Budget, Forecast, and LBE accuracy, Performance tracking vs Plan / PY, Acts as primary finance, business partner to Institutional Commercial teams. Performs deep‑dive variance analysis (volume, pricing, mix, returns, cost-to-serve). Challenges demand phasing, pricing mechanics, contract terms; Translates business dynamics into clear financial insights and scenarios for leadership decision‑making.
In parallel, owns Balance Sheet governance, Working Capital & Cash Flow Protection: Inventory Monitoring & Returns Risk Prevention; Receivables Oversight & Credit Risk Management; Procurement Efficiency & Payables Management; Owns end‑to‑end cash flow forecasting, phasing, and variance analysis for the affiliate. Leads working capital discipline, with specific accountability for: DSO, aging, credit exposure, Institutional collections follow‑up and risk anticipation. Ensures cash assumptions embedded in Plan, LBE, and Forecast are realistic and defendable.
Operating in a high‑exposure, fast‑paced environment, the role partners closely with Commercial, Sales Operations, Credit & Collections/CFS, Supply Chain to protect cash, challenge assumptions, and enable profitable growth.
Cualificaciones requeridas
Education: Master's degree
6+ years of progressive finance experience managing financial performance of a business unit or complex operation
Proven track record of improving productivity across PNL and Balance Sheet performance, including working capital management.
Experience leading budgets, presentations and reporting to Region.
Strong Financial and business acumen, ideally with experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Executive-level communications skills in Spanish and English and ability to address and communicate to all organizational levels.
High sense of urgency and commitment to delivering
