Job Description Summary
The analyst will be expected to partner strongly within the segment – with Electrification Systems commercial ops teams, FP&A teams, and business lines – to support the reporting and analysis of commercial finance metrics i.e. Orders, for which Electrification Systems reported $18B in TY’25 on strong y/y growth. The analyst will also coordinate with GEV HQ and segment business lines to support the operationalization of capital allocation management, including but not limited to Capex and R&D.
Job Description
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
1) Commercial Finance reporting & analysis
- Partner with commercial ops team to develop new reporting capabilities that drive visibility and action for the business
- Own the closing activities for orders reporting, including Data Request (DR) submissions
- Drive reporting accuracy and consistency on Orders by collaborating with the business
2) Capital allocation
- Coordinate with GEV HQ on capital allocation reporting requirements, approval mechanisms, and tools / process standardization
- Support operationalization of a standard Capex and R&D investment process across all business lines in Electrification Systems
- Own the monthly ops mechanisms for Capex approvals and actuals tracking to drive better visibility for the segment and each business line
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or above degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline from an accredited university or college
- Past experience of working in global organization
- Familiar with financial system and tools (Excel, PPT, SAP, HFM/FCC)
