The Financial Analyst role is a key role within the Finance team which provides a range of services to the business.  You will be responsible for and provide expertise in the following areas:

  • Support the annual budgeting process for the North American business.

  • Support the monthly forecasting process for North American entities.

  • Assist with improving forecast accuracy and analytics capabilities.

  • Assist with client profitability analysis.

  • Prepare high quality and timely performance reporting for the regional Senior Leadership Team.

  • Liaising with the finance reporting team to ensure reporting accuracy

  • Obtain specialist knowledge of the sales and product function

  • Support sales/commission analysis

  • Other projects on an ad-hoc basis

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders globally across US/UK/Europe/NZ

Specific Role Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Support the annual budgets to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Communicate with Group to update ongoing forecasts.

  • Prepare regional reporting to Senior Leadership Team and BoD.

  • Support SQL Query development to assist forecasting, billing and reporting

  • Support a robust financial modelling with Python

  • Assist with integrating platform database with accounting system

  • Identifying and driving forward ideas to continuously improve FNZs revenue opportunities, cost reductions and overall profitability

Experience Required

  • CPA/CA preferred (but not required)

  • 2-3 years’ experience

  • Knowledge of financial services

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills

  • Intermediate to advance proficiency in analytical tools and languages (SQL, Python, Power BI, DataBricks).

  • Independent, self-directing and delivery focused working style;

  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail

  • Ability to manage competing deadlines, problem solve and analyse effectively

  • Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills

  • Good team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients

  • Organizational management is key

  • Ability to work under pressure as part of an effective team
