About the Role:

The CrowdStrike’s Commercial Compliance team’s critical mission is to achieve, maintain, and continually improve CrowdStrike’s information security compliance program. The Commercial Compliance’s team is specifically tasked with a compliance portfolio that consists of SOC 2, CSA STAR, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, PCI-DSS, C5, and more. The Governance, Risk, and Compliance Specialist’s primary function will involve supporting the audit and assessment functions to CrowdStrike’s applicable compliance frameworks.  

 

What You'll Do:

This role covers audit and assessment activities in the context of information security:

  • Facilitate internal and external compliance audits from third-party auditors and/or assessors.

  • Communicate with stakeholders within CrowdStrike on control requirements and our expectations of control implementation.

  • Support an information security program by creating repeatable and scalable processes.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the organization, and leading efforts to address and correct the identified opportunities for improvement.

  • Performing other duties within the scope of governance, risk, and compliance as needed.

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 3 years of information security program management experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Practical experience with certifications and frameworks like SOC 2, CSA STAR, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, PCI-DSS, C5, IRAP, and NIST Special Publication 800-53.

  • Practical experience with continually improving an organization’s compliance program.

  • An ability to build rapport and maintain relationships across a multitude of functions within an organization.

  • Fundamental technical understanding of key technologies such as operating systems, networks, application development, databases, virtualization, and cloud infrastructures.


Bonus Points:

  • Program management experience in scoping audits and/or assessments, maintaining a compliance program, and leading project initiatives.

  • Ability to think strategically about a uniform compliance program.

  • Experience with cloud environment platforms and CrowdStrike’ Falcon platform products and services.

  • Security+/AWS CCP/CISA or other certification(s) demonstrating cloud/SaaS knowledge

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $85,000 - $135,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
