About your Team

The Learning team owns the cross-platform experience of web and mobile experiences for content creators and their students. This role will empower creators by providing state-of-the-art tools and resources to craft high-quality, impactful learning experiences and drive engagement by developing features that motivate students to achieve their goals.


What is the role?

As a Senior Product Manager on the Learning Team, you will define and execute the strategy for learning-focused features and experiences that empower users to engage deeply with our content platform. Your work will focus on creating tools and systems that enhance content capabilities, learning experiences, and knowledge progression while driving engagement and user satisfaction. You support these initiatives across two cross-functional pods. 

You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, analytics, and content teams to deliver innovative learning solutions that help users achieve their goals.

You’ll work with teams based in the U.S. and Brazil.

You’ll report to the Director of Product, Learning.


What to expect in the role:

  • Product Strategy: Define the strategic vision for learning tools and experiences, ensuring they align with user needs and company objectives.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and own the roadmap for learning initiatives, including personalized recommendations, progress and engagement tracking, and interactive content features.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, and marketing teams to build intuitive, scalable features that enrich the learning journey for users.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics, user research, and market trends to guide product decisions and optimize learning experiences.
  • User Engagement & Retention: Create features that promote sustained engagement, such as gamification elements, challenges, and rewards for learning achievements.
  • Personalization & AI: Leverage AI and machine learning to deliver personalized learning paths and adaptive content recommendations.
  • Experimentation & Optimization: Conduct A/B tests to validate new features and refine learning tools for maximum impact.
  • User Research & Feedback: Regularly engage with users to gather insights on learning behaviors and needs, ensuring products deliver meaningful outcomes.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, bonus points for experience in edtech, learning systems, or user engagement roles within content platforms.
  • Scrappiness: Resourceful, adaptable, and results-driven. Prioritizes execution and makes informed decisions quickly without always relying on perfect data.
  • Data Literacy: Strong experience with data analytics and the ability to translate insights into actionable product decisions.
  • User-Centric Mindset: Deep empathy for users and a commitment to creating features that drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Execution Excellence: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate vision, strategies, and results to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have:

  • Experience creating something yourself 
  • Experience in both native mobile consumer-facing products
  • Experience working in growth stage ($10MM - $100MM ARR) companies is a plus!
  • Experience working in the creator economy
  • Experience building tools or features that support education, skill-building, or content engagement.
  • Fluency in Portuguese 
  • Familiarity with AI-driven personalization, learning management systems, or analytics tools used to improve user experiences.

Additional details:

At Teachable, we are committed to providing fair and competitive pay (using market data to inform our pay bands), rewarding high performance, and ensuring all employees have the opportunity and ability to impact Teachable’s overall company value. Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically following performance review cycles currently conducted bi-annually or in conjunction with a promotion.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. 
  • For this role, the cash compensation package potential is $145,000 - $160,000, inclusive of a performance bonus that will be tied to set targets. Total compensation also includes a competitive benefits package and an RSU package. A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
