Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Domain Lead to manage and drive the strategic direction of the Citi Treasury Investments data domain. The successful candidate will be a key player in ensuring the quality, consistency, and accessibility of data within the domain, enabling informed decision-making and driving business value. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

This role ensures consistency in data provisioning, oversees data consumption into reports and other systems, and enforces compliance with Enterprise data governance policies. Joint with other data domain owners and report owners, the Data Domain Lead will also be responsible for consistency and accuracy of domain-specific transformations or calculations. Lastly, the Data Domain Lead will be responsible for assessing data concerns, including coordinating remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Domain Execution:

• Participate in central Data Execution Working Groups to align data definitions, models, controls, and quality rules across domains.
• Lead a team of data professionals to oversee the consistency of data provisioning and consumption to ensure accuracy and reliability in applications.
• Partner with Domain Owners and Report Owners to facilitate product-driven calculations and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Produce metrics and performance indicators for the data domain and present to respective governance councils and committees
• Sets priorities and objectives for all data within the domain, including initiatives to augment data health; drive data technology decisions, including investments, builds, and prioritizations, for cross-domain consistency.
• Sets priorities and objectives for data within their Data Domain, standing up initiatives or capabilities to augment data health.
• Approves ownership of DEs and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) for Data Domain.
• Daily management of CTI as data provider, including data governance for the “CTI” data domain for all Cash, Securities & Funding.
• Identifies and designates SORs and ARs and specify which SOR or AR the Data Consumer must consume from
• Accountable for tracking, monitoring and remediation of all Data Concerns assigned to their Data Domain
• Accepts and meets Data Consumer requirements
• Creates and maintains data catalog, metadata, and lineage

2. Governance Oversight:

• Accountable for compliance with Enterprise data governance policies by maintaining an effectively designed and operating data control environment.
• Accountable for engaging with the Enterprise Data Office (EDO) and Use Case owners across the firm to confirm critical data element scope from various endpoints and bring that CTI-specific CDEs under governance as prescribed by policy
• CTI Data Domain lead will lead efforts both as Data Consumer and Data Provider
• Requires oversight and management across complex accounting hedges and new pledging programs
• Accountable for delivering timely, accurate and complete data for the data domain
• Provide ongoing oversight of data exceptions and collaborate with Data Managers and other Data Leads to manage discrepancies.
• Participate in governance councils to provide reporting on data domains, monitor execution activities, and oversee data concern closures.

• Support stakeholder engagement across enterprise-level and domain-level teams to ensure smooth data management operations.
• Coordinate execution and solutioning for end-to-end processes related to data concerns
• Oversee resourcing and strategic alignment of efforts to remediate Consent Orders to ensure seamless data integration and operational effectiveness.

3. Team Management

• Daily management of a team of data professionals; lead and guide in the execution and management of complex data uses cases while ensuring timely delivery and efficient resource allocation
• Oversee workload distribution, performance management and professional development; lead, mentor and develop talent, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by coordinating with stakeholder, ensuring effective communication and driving alignment between data strategy and business objectives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in data governance, data quality, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across enterprise data teams.
• Proficiency in data management tools, analytics, and reporting systems.
• Ability to drive data execution strategies and support business objectives through data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to craft effective briefing materials for non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with Treasury Investments, notably AFS/HTM and Hedging Programs reporting requirements
• Certifications in data management or related areas are an asset
