About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Agile Coach to join the Agile Coaching organisation. As a senior Agile Coach, you will be a driving force behind the tribe's and squads' success and a key contributor to developing Swift's agile capabilities.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach, coaching Scrum teams on the team level as well as coaching on a larger scale across squads.

Key Responsibilities

1. You will build highly effective squads

- Understand where the squads and tribe are in their agile journey, challenge individuals & squads to help them stay on track with agile practices and offer coaching interventions to support their growth and adoption of Scrum/Kanban and address observed Agile anti-patterns.

- Gradually transfer Agile know-how and adoption ownership to squads through coaching and training, supporting Scrum Master skills growth.

- Work on improvement (processes, tools, team dynamics) and coach squads to adopt them into the day-to-day work of the squads.

- Facilitate learning and development through individual and squad coaching, deliver trainings, design and facilitate workshops and problem-solving sessions.

- Support and pace change for people and squads as they adapt to new processes and strategies. Build psychological safety and foster trust, transparency, and collaboration among squad members.

- Foster a customer-centric mindset, positioning customer value at the centre of squad and tribe activities.

2. You will build a highly effective tribe in collaboration with the Tribe Coach

- Be equally accountable for the tribe delivery as the tribe itself. Support focus on value delivery, enable better outcomes and products/services for customers.

- Identify improvement initiatives, develop & drive coaching interventions to address tribe-wide systemic issues. Highlight observed challenges and complexity to Tribe leadership to ensure squads get the support they need to succeed.

- Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth, setting Value & Outcome-based goals and being accountable for them.

- Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across squads and promote transparency in terms of progress, impediments & successes.

- Implement and role model a feedback culture.

- Coach leaders in the adoption of servant leadership behaviours and attitudes to support business goals and product needs.

- Maintain an objective perspective on issues across squads or tribes, troubleshoot by applying agile principles, and advocate for necessary structural and process changes at the Tribe level.

- Support planning (BRP) and implementation.

3. You will be a member of the Agile Coaches community

- Be an active contributor to the Agile Coaches community.

- Build and share experience, best practices, and learnings within the agile coach community

- Help develop an Agile Community of practice.
