What is the opportunity?
This role is responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of a hybrid cloud and on-premises environment, with a strong security mindset. This role also drives technology transformation initiatives to improve business processes and global organization productivity. This role provides technical guidance to the team maintaining the organization’s infrastructure, business applications and platforms to deliver an excellent end-user experience.This role reports to the Director, Systems and Technology.


What will you do ?
Provide technical guidance and drive initiatives across multiple technology scope that includes, but not limited to the below :
Microsoft Azure cloud
Azure Entra ID
Microsoft 365
Microsoft Defender for Cloud and End Point
Microsoft end point management / Intune
Windows and Linux technology stack
Network Administration (routers, firewalls, switches)
Atlassian products
Manage our global IT infrastructure, enterprise information systems, end-user services and compliance with industry standards
Lead business transformation initiatives under IT scope
Work with the leadership team on IT roadmap and initiatives
Drive transformation initiatives to improve business processes and global organization productivity continuously
Active involvement in executing the IT strategy, including planning and implementing processes and policies
Oversee the maintenance of all enterprise IT assets
Escalation point for complex technology issues
Evaluate technology risks and drive remediation measures
Assess the effectiveness of established IT processes and provide recommendations on IT daily operations
Ensure Change Management process standards are followed for technology change initiatives
Lead complex technical projects in an agile environment
Technical guidance to the team on maintaining user documentation, procedures, and relevant training materials.
Research and report on new technologies that would help the organization to meet new and ever-changing business goals and requirements.
Drive operational excellence and productivity in the team
Own new technology initiatives, learn, design and drive implementation

Must Have Skills

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
14+ years of relevant experience in information technologies with minimum of 3 years of playing a technical leadership role
Sound knowledge of cloud concepts and core working experience in at least one cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure
Solid experience with Infrastructure components (Compute, Storage, Networking, virtualization)
Experience in administering Microsoft 365 suite of applications is preferred
Familiarity with Atlassian products
Excellent troubleshooting skills with experience in issue triaging and resolution for complex technical issues
Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills
A genuine passion for technology
A love for helping people and solving problems
An instinct to communicate and collaborate with others
A desire to work hard, learn, and grow
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Strong work ethic and flexibility to take on varied responsibilities
Experience working with large enterprise IT environment
Advanced knowledge of information security
Advanced technology and cloud certifications preferred
