This exciting opportunity allows you to work across various facilities based on staffing needs, utilizing your unique skills to provide exceptional patient care wherever you’re needed most.

Core Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care
Assess and manage patient needs, following physician orders under RN supervision.
Perform routine nursing procedures as needed to support patient care.
Meet established productivity standards.
Coordination of Services
Collaborate with RNs and team members to coordinate patient care.
Notify RNs and supervisors of any changes in patient conditions.
Work with RNs to develop and update individualized care plans.
Complete additional duties as assigned by RN leadership.
Patient and Caregiver Education
Educate patients and caregivers to promote self-care and support.
Report any safety concerns to appropriate authorities or leadership.
Communication and Documentation
Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
Understand and apply regulatory guidelines.
Participate in team conferences and check secure messaging daily.
Staff Education and Professional Development
Assist in the training of new employees.
Attend required continuing education and in-services.
Stay current with clinical knowledge.
Additional Duties:
Comply with all Wellstar Health System policies and standards.
Required Qualifications:
Licenses and Certifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical LPN experience in an acute care setting required.
Skills:
Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficient assessment and clinical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Initial and annual competency educational requirements.
