What would you do? Plan and execute deconversion projects for DB and DC plans, including plan and contract terminations
Develop and manage project plans using Salesforce templates, including timelines, dependencies, and milestones
Build and execute schedules and communication plans aligned to termination requirements
Review and align project plans with Client Plan Sponsors, TPAs, Payroll Providers, and internal partners
Act as a central point of coordination for deconversion-related communications and approvals
Proactively manage the shared team inbox, ensuring timely, accurate responses to internal and external inquiries
Manage participant and plan data throughout the deconversion lifecycle, including census, contributions, beneficiaries, loans, and vesting
Perform census reviews and coordinate data requests with BPASS and plan sponsors following deconversion notifications
Conduct final data reconciliation covering participant balances, plan assets, liabilities, loans, and vesting
Coordinate asset transfer, annuitization, or liquidation activities to support participant payouts per plan terms
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data prior to asset movement and final disbursements
Provide periodic project status reporting, including milestones achieved, risks, mitigation plans, and action items
Maintain documentation, audit trails, and adherence to regulatory and internal control standards
Support plan setup and employee record configuration once plan service agreements and documentation are executed
Partner closely with relationship management, account management, and internal teams to ensure seamless transitions and sustained operational stability.
Mentor and manage a team of analysts and specialists, promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What are we looking for? Functional expertise in U.S. retirement plans, including both Defined Contribution (DC) , Defined Benefit (DB) schemes and IRA (Group Plan IRAs, SEP). Proven ability to manage end-to-end plan and participant level service delivery, lead high-performing teams, and drive operational improvements.
In-depth experience in de-conversion, managing participant data, asset disposition, stakeholder coordination, and final reconciliation activities to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely plan and contract terminations.
Hands on with developing process documentation (SOP), capturing exceptions, process flow, process maps, and NIGO rules.
Subject Matter Expert/ Trainer with 5+ years of experience in remote transitions, developing quality checklists, performing RCA, and developing action plans to improve quality performance.
Mandatory experience in 401(k) and/or 403(b) plan administration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Inbound and Outbound voice support experience required . Experience in project management, data reconciliation, and stakeholder coordination
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar project tracking tools
