What we’re looking for:

The U.S. Personal Banking Cards team is looking for talented and ambitious Project Managers & Program Managers. As part of the team, you’ll help drive Citi’s growth — showcasing products and digital capabilities across Citi branded cards, retail bank and our retail services. This role is an opportunity to leverage Citi’s high-tech, high-touch relationship model.

A typical day could include tasks like ideating and testing concepts to executing tailored, engaging projects and innovative customer journeys across the full spectrum of Personal Banking.

Ultimately, we need someone who wants to learn from and work alongside some of the most imaginative, diverse, and forward-thinking professionals in the industry.

This role gives you the opportunity to:

  • Lead Projects: Building achievable and aspirational programs while delivering a best-in-class and personalized customer experience every step of the way. Driving cross-functional teams to execute on agreed priorities within established operating plans and timelines. Using best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/customers’ needs and deliver within budget on desired outcomes. Manages a large multi-faceted project/account/campaign or multiple projects at the same time while developing project plans and managing deadlines and goals.
  • Advocate for customers: Deeply understand user segments to create customer-focused solutions.
  • Engage key stakeholders: Partner with Marketing, Risk, and Analytics teams to implement segmentation, pricing and response models that optimize response & profitability.
  • Drive Innovation: Make break-through decisions and recommendations based on analytics and research. Able to embrace innovation and change, and to transform and materially change the business trajectory.
  • Mitigate risk: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

You’re a person who has:

  • 6 10+ years of experience in Project/Program Management (preferred experience in Credit Card Industry/financial services) Experience and knowledge in unsecured lending, product development, product management, or similar role a plus.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams that span multiple areas, including – but not limited to, Risk Management, Marketing, Technology, Governance, Customer, Sales Team, Engineering and Manufacturing and Execution
  • Enthusiasm for exceptional digital products & services, and a customer first focus with an empathetic and genuine understanding of customer needs.
  • The ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
  • Managed client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships, build partnerships, and influence a group of diverse stakeholders across the businesses and key functional support areas.
  • Promoted good working relationships across a project, cultivating the people skills needed to develop trust and communication among all of a project's stakeholders: its sponsors, those who will make use of the project's results, those who command the resources needed, and the project team members.
  • Detail oriented, with proven ability to question and identify opportunities within existing processes and business practices by leveraging previous experiences and knowledge of the business.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for establishing and maintaining a culture of control within the business.
  • Superior organizational skills, with proven ability to successfully manage multiple, concurrent priorities in addition to strong judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Strategic, analytical, and systematic thinker who consistently challenges the status quo and constructively challenges the team to drive change and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to find, analyze, and distill data into actionable insights.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at once.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • PMP certification strongly preferred, Six Sigma a plus.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$103,920.00 - $170,760.00
