Looking for challenging Business Analysis roles to solve some of the most complex software problems that impacts biggest businesses in the world?

Global Compliance Reporting (GCR) unit of Corporates, Thomson Reuters is looking for Business Analyst to join at their Hyderabad office.

Business Analyst work across the end-to-end software development life cycle and apply modern software quality practices when defining, designing, building, test suite and delivering software and services to users ensuring product quality. Business Analyst effectively collaborate with cross functional teams including senior stakeholders to deliver on projects.

 

You will utilize your deep technical expertise and product knowledge to fill the gap between Product and Engineering teams in overall project management by specifying and driving progress towards development activities, milestones, and timelines.

This role independently builds software solutions, solves highly complex problems and displays innovation when delivering projects and/or product(s).

 

About the Role:

In this opportunity as Business Analyst, you will:

  • Responsible for the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of a client's business needs and requirements.
  • Elicits, writes formal specifications, and communicates business requirements between development and client to design and implement business solutions.
  • Develops and improves business processes within the technology and business organizations and understands client requirements, specifying and analyzing these to a sufficient level of detail to ensure clarity of definition.
  • Translates complex business requirements into technical solutions as required.
  • Makes technical solution recommendations to meet requirements based on understanding of how technical solutions will impact the business and stakeholders as required.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a relationship with customers.
  • Uses a structured requirements process to assess near-term needs.
  • Adheres to metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and may recommend metrics.
  • Ensures that implementation follows the design.
  • Ensures change management and communication of change to team and/or client is done in a systematic way for complex projects
  • Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to the process.
  • Develops an in-depth awareness and understanding of multiple Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services.
  • Participates in short term planning sessions with a client to improve a business process

About You:

You're a fit for the role of Business Analyst if your background includes:

  • Bachelors Degree In Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Related Field
  • 3-5 Years of Software Systems
  • Experience With large scale product organization
  • Experience With Work management tools like JIRA or ADO
  • Ability to handle multiple complex problems
