POSITION SUMMARY:
Interprets physician’s orders, performs evaluations and assessments; designs and implements plan of care; maintains treatment and progress reports; drafts and/or presents oral or written reports of patient’s status; collaborates with team members toward reaching patient’s goals.
Starting Wage: $35.308
The posted wage is the current starting wage for this position. Actual wage is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience and qualifications for this position. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certification/Licensure:
Current State of Hawaii OT licensure.
Current NBCOT certification as an OTR.
Current BLS certification
Completion of competencies and other job-related and REHAB requirements.
Education:
Graduate from an ACOTE accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
Skills/Experience:
Ability to safely and effectively manage patients’ mobility.
Ability to clearly communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Ability to safely provide care to patients.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Experience:
For Inpatient: One (1) year physical rehabilitation experience.
For Outpatient: Minimum two (2) years physical rehabilitation experience.
For Hand Clinic: One (1) year experience in hand rehabilitation, participation in at least one (1) splinting workshop which includes dynamic splinting principles.
