As a Behavioral Health Outpatient Therapist, you will utilize knowledge and skills in the areas of psychotherapy, clinical counseling, diagnostic interviews, assessments and treatment plans while working with patients ranging in age from 5 years old to late adulthood. The caregiver in this role will provide individual, group and/or family-oriented therapy sessions and utilize a clinical focus across the mental health spectrum, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
Has a master’s degree in social work, counseling or a related field.
Is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
Has a background in ADHD, school systems and parent management.
Can work after school hours (3pm – 7pm).
