About You and this Role

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a PMDI /MMDI Maintenance Manager located in Freeport, TX!

In this role, you will share responsibility and accountability for the plant assets, personnel and achievement of the plant related business goals. You may also function as a liaison to supplement and support other maintenance areas, such as maintenance activity coordination, when gaps exist between maintenance and other functions. Additionally, you will provide support of administrative people leadership to maintenance employees.

Responsibilities

• Supports EH&S engagement, particularly in the field and in the areas of personal safety and compliance.
• Provides a clear focus on creating a highly reliable organizational culture and the elimination of unplanned events by implementing reliability and maintenance services and solutions.
• Provides coaching and feedback to other maintenance team members. There are no direct people leadership responsibilities aligned to this role.
• Implements and provides on-going support of the Maintenance Procedure Use Policy at the facility. Ensures that all maintenance employees comply with all applicable elements of the policy.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking. A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (i.e., engineering, manufacturing or related).
• Possession of a TWIC card or eligibility to obtain a TWIC card is required for this position. Per the US Government and Department of Homeland Security policy and regulations, you may apply for a TWIC card if you are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, naturalized citizen or a nonimmigrant alien, asylee, or refugee who is in lawful status.
• A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

• Domestic relocation is available for this role and may be provided based on eligibility.
