Job Description Summary

This position works independently or within a team to assemble quality poly components for furniture.

Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up glue station machine, adjusting for each job
• Applies glue according to print.
• Assembler poly parts according to La-Z-Boys quality requirements.
• Inspect work visually for defects according to our quality standards
• Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy
• Accurately complete ticket process in system
• Maintain parts storage and inventory on work order.
• Ability to operate equipment in a safe, accurate and efficient manner.
• Continuous improvement of detailed jobs in gluing process.
• Controlling quality and waste.
• Demonstrates teamwork and motivation for job requirements.
• Follow health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Ability to lift 5-15 pounds.
• Ability to read basic blueprints.
• Basic computer skills
• Achieve performance standards
• Excellent attendance; 2 points or less.

PREFERRED REQURMENTS:
• Bilingual
