JR55978 Sr. Manager: Client SBU Technical Customer ManagementAs Senior Manager of client SSD TCM, you will Lead TCM team to provide best-in-class customer qualification experience for Micron’s client SSDs. Being the primary qualification interface between the customer and engineering, while developing a long-term relationship with the customer to support streamlined communication and qualification efforts that facilitate products being qualified with maximum efficiency. Proactively define customer qualification requirements and processes to shape a qualification plan that ensures speed and success. Define and own success metrics and drive execution internally and externally.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Act as the primary contact to communicate customer qualification requirements and status to management, sales, and development teams. Align customer qual plan with product ramp plan
· Work closely with sales and BDM to prioritize the qual, required platform assignments to enable ramp of the new product. Define and implement customer qualification plans and schedules at targeted customers and their OEM/ODM partners.
· Build trusting customer relationships to ensure all specification, test, documentation, and sample requirements to meet customer expectations
· Drive customer configuration management process
· Running customer partner concerns by driving priorities on issue resolution, closure and corrective action
· Drive customer change management process and resolution with Micron design teams
· Support the customer account team strategy throughout the life of the qualified program, including post-release qualification support
· Educate Micron development and validation teams on the customer qualification process as well as the critical customer requirements
Qualifications:
· Minimum 10+ years of SSD storage or related high-tech experience including interaction with sales, customers, engineers
· Over 3 years of experience managing a team
· Prior experience working in product development teams
· Prior or current working experience with Client OEM/ODMs
· Show ability to negotiate with customer and internal engineering teams.
· Requires knowledge of OEM product qualification processes and a broad-based understanding of the storage industry.
· Demonstrated project management skills, executive presentation abilities and customer relationship management experience are key requirements
· A strong, driven personality who can work as an advocate for the customer within the design team
· Demonstrated intuition for business to understand and communicate customer impacts and trade offs.
· Able to relay technical information to and from the customer verbally and in writing at a professional level
· Good written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin required
Education:
· Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
