Schedule: Full Time - Days

What You’ll Do

Assists with installing, configuring and maintaining the organization's datacenter infrastructure and analyzes/resolves problems associated with server hardware and software. Supports, analyzes, modifies, tests, and maintains virtualization systems. Performs preventative maintenance, provides end user support for all server-based applications and is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to assist in planning and accomplishing goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, and is expected to use a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Assists in planning, coordinating, developing, deploying, and administering datacenter hardware and software in rollouts, migrations and large deployments of server environments.

Requirements

2 years IT experience managing enterprise level systems

Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

Strong Knowledge of core datacenter management, design, planning and support.

Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DFS and other related technologies

Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.

Knowledge of VMware and Citrix virtualization environments

Knowledge of Veeam backup software

Knowledge of enterprise storage-arrays and Brocade switches

Knowledge and Skills

Ability to work under minimum supervision and perform highly independent work.

Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
