JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are recruiting for a newly created role of Partnerships Manager for our Cardiac Rhythm Management business, to build and maintain a strategic partnership with NHS Supply Chain, including stakeholders within SRM, NHSE and Specialised Commissioning and to facilitate operational ways of working between multiple Abbott stakeholders and NHSSC.

What you’ll do:

  • Influence a broad network of stakeholders, drive improved contract performance through access to data.
  • Design and lead the commercial strategy for NHSSC and provide guidance to the field team.
  • Connect cross divisionally to collect valuable insights and formulate a cohesive strategy for enhancing customer engagement.
  • Design and organise the cadence of engagement between Abbott CRM and NHSSC, to include category meetings, education, operational and strategic.
  • Establish trust-based, collaborative, sustainable relationships with both Abbott internal stakeholders and external customer stakeholders.
  • Work alongside marketing to ensure all future pipeline products have a commercial strategy and listing plan with NHSSC, including pricing and training.
  • Develop ways of working, tools and processes to support the commercial strategy with NHSSC.
  • Where appropriate be a conduit between stakeholders on specific contracts.
  • Maintain personal knowledge of the UK Healthcare Market by monitoring both industry and NHS developments that may be pertinent to the UK Market.
  • Design and manage projects that will further our relationship with NHSSC based on uncovering specific needs of the customer.

 

What you’ll need:

  • A business degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Ideally a proven track record in National Accounts/Strategic Accounts, building partnerships, with solid commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with managers, co-workers and customer stakeholders at all levels.
  • Prior commercial experience, within complex devices ideal but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analysis and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
