The Compliance Business Control Associate Analyst is a developing professional role. This role identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting teams with compliance and control; partners with operations, risk, compliance, legal and other entities to ensure accuracy and validity of published procedures.
  • Drafts communications, including content for alerts, emails, collaborate, newsletters, etc; ensuring that trainings and communications are meaningful and easy to understand.
  • Documents policy and procedure within regulatory requirements in addition to Information Security policies and procedures.
  • Works with businesses to coordinate deliverables required for internal and external audits.
  • Updates project tasks regularly and accurately
  • Prioritizes and completes deliverables timely
  • Facilitates conference calls
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Ability to manage effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities and multiple deadlines
  • Ability to make sound decisions that reflect good judgment
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$46,000.00 - $64,200.00
