The Marketing Manager, Asia is a cross-functional marketing role that drives marketing strategy and plan for the region ensuring they are aligned to global strategy and goals as well as adhering to brand standards and guidelines, and at the same time positioned to help achieve commercial goals for the region. This includes supporting distributor partners in developing their annual marketing plans and working with retailers to participate in programs that will best enhance our brand presence whilst achieving commercial goals. You will ensure seamless communication with the international marketing team to ensure that marketing campaigns are brought to life in a timely manner and within given budget. The Marketing Manager is also the guardian of brand standards and guidelines in the region

The ideal candidate is forward-thinking, innovative, and agile. Reporting to the  General Manager, Asia, this is a hands-on position that necessitates diligent project management, and ability to self-prioritize. A high level of organization and exceptional attention to detail is critical to achieve deadlines. Superior communication skills and confidence in managing varying levels of stakeholders is essential. 

WHAT YOU DO

  • Work with the International marketing team to develop 360 marketing plans with retail partners & PR agencies, ensuring alignment with global goals and initiatives
  • Support development of distributors’ annual marketing plans, ensuring alignment with global goals and initiatives
  • Serves as lead Brand and Product Marketing point of contact for all regional retailers and distributors, proactively and timely sharing of strategies, project plans, campaign toolkits, creative assets, etc
  • Leads collaboration with retailers and distributor marketing teams to develop local plans including, brand activations, creative briefs, talent/influencer selection, asset requirements, etc.
  • Manages overall project plan, working closely with International Marketing team to ensure deadlines are being met and initiatives are successfully executed in each local market. This includes getting all necessary approvals from internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage PR inventory and collaterals, ensuring sufficient items available for execution of marketing initiatives
  • Ensure that all relevant product information needed on retailer portal that relates to product marketing, including inputting attributes and uploading creative assets are done on time for seasonal product launches
  • Manage and execute all retail marketing activations ensuring it meets timelines, adhere to brand standards and achieve stated goals
  • Work with VM Team to manage the execution of seasonal counter and merchandise updates
  • Drive CRM and loyalty programs, coordinating with International Marketing team on gifts and collaterals needed
  • Measure, track and analyze key KPIs to enhance results. Provide regular and timely reports including but not limited to post campaign reports, monthly influencer posting report
  • Keep abreast with industry, market trends and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience within the luxury beauty industry
  • Minimum 3 years of international marketing experience
  • Experience working in prestige beauty, luxury or fashion industries
  • Experience of working with a growing and global brand, with the ability to proactively problem solve and identify opportunities
  • Exceptional professionalism, communication and presentation skills
  • Ambitious, target driven individual who is self-motivated and proactive
  • Deep understanding of different cultures and markets
  • Process driven with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks within a changing and fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
