Description:

Marsh Property Risk Consulting is seeking a motivated Risk Consultant to join our Johannesburg (Sandton) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with an Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree and experience in Health & Safety, Environmental Assessment, Fire, or Water Risk roles to advance their career within a leading insurance broker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular industrial site risk assessments at client locations
• Perform risk assessments, fire surveys, and compile reports including loss calculations and risk recommendations
• Schedule and oversee activities ensuring completion by competent resources
• Review quality of outputs and prepare business feedback summaries
• Present findings and reports to clients and internal stakeholders
• Provide consulting support as needed

Qualifications:

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• Experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Maintenance, Environmental Impact Assessment, Health & Safety, or Fire Protection
• Knowledge of risk management principles
• Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and a local language
• IFA or NEBOSH certification is a plus but not required
